Experience

Jennifer Hayes is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property department. Prior to joining Nixon Peabody, Ms. Hayes was an associate and a patent agent at two boutique intellectual property firms, where she worked primarily on prosecution matters in a variety of fields including computer software, materials processing, medical devices and other mechanical, electrical and computer technologies.  Ms. Hayes has also worked on litigation matters including preparing summary judgment motions, document review, and invalidity analysis. She has prepared re-examination briefs for clients involved in complex litigation and has advised in-house counsel regarding pending patent litigation. Ms. Hayes also has experience in analyzing clients patent portfolios for infringement of standard specifications.

Jennifer has been recognized as one of Super Lawyer's "Rising Stars" by the publishers of the Northern California Super Lawyers magazine for 2009.
